Relate, or EPiServer Community as it used to be called, is EPiServer's product for building social websites - both public communities and intranets.

I spent a couple of years at the start of my career working almost exclusively with social websites, often built on EPiServer Relate/Community.

These days I don't see Relate-projects as often but I've used the product as compliment to CMS-based solutions in a number of projects.
