What is EPiServer?

EPiServer AB is a Swedish company whose flagship product is EPiServer CMS, a content management system based on Microsoft’s ASP.NET. Although EPiServer AB has a few other products, such as EPiServer Community and EPiServer Mail when the name EPiServer is mentioned it is often synonymous with EPiServer CMS.

EPiServer CMS has a dominating position on the Swedish market with a market share of 41% among listed companies and municipalities (1). EPiServer CMS also has a strong position in Norway and are rising on a number of markets such as Great Britain, Denmark, US (mainly in Chicago), Australia as well as others.
