About Joel Abrahamsson

Picture of Joel AbrahamssonEPiServer Most Valued Professional LogoMCTS logoMy name is Joel Abrahamsson and I am a systems developer and architect working with web development and search solutions. I specialize in ASP.NET and the content management system EPiServer CMS. I'm also one of the founders of Truffler, a search solution for .NET based on elasticsearch. I'm very passionate about web development, primarily on the server side but I also really enjoy performance tuning on the client side. I work on a few projects on my spare time, such as the Page Type Builder project.

I'm a certified Microsoft Technology Specialist and a certified EPiServer developer. I am also an EMVP (EPiServer Most Valued Professional) and in 2010 Computer Sweden ranked me as one of the top developers in Sweden.

Prior to working with web development I studied Industrial Engineering and Management at the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm. Before that I had a sejour in the IT-industry during the dotcom years working at the hosting company WinEasy.

I live in Stockholm, Sweden together with my wife Marie and our two daughters.
